Mumbai police constable body found on skywalk near railway station

Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) Police discovered the body of an unidentified man on the skywalk near Ghatkopar railway station in city suburb. During investigations it was confirmed that the deceased was a policeman, officials said here on Friday.
According to details, on June 20 local Pantnagar police received a report about a man in critical condition on the skywalk close to the railway station. Responding swiftly, officers rushed the individual to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, but the man died before receiving treatment.
During the investigation, police found that the victim had been reported missing from his residence since June 11 and he was a habitual alcoholic. He was a constable of the Armed Police Division in Mumbai and resided with his family in the Jawhar Police Lines area of Ghatkopar.
