Mumbai Police arrest man with illegal weapon in North Division combing drive

Mumbai, July 17 (UNI) A 28-year-old man was arrested here early Friday for allegedly possessing a sharp-edged weapon without valid permission during a special combing operation in Kurar area, police said.
According to Kurar police, the operation was carried out between 11.00 pm on July 10 and 2.00 am on July 11 under the directions of Mumbai Police's North Regional Division.
During the drive, the Detection Staff led by PSI Panchal intercepted a suspicious looking youth near Nutan High School in Appa Pada, Kurar Village.
