Mukesh, Shahbaz bag 4 each as Bengal take first innings lead in Ranji Trophy

Lucknow, Oct 13 (UNI) An outstanding bowling effort by Bengal, led by Mukesh Kumar (4-43), helped team take a vital first innings lead against Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy match at the Ekana Cricket Stadium here on Sunday.
Mukesh was well supported by Shahbaz Ahmed (4-96) and Md Kaif (2-42) as Bengal bundled out UP for 292 to take a vital first innings lead. Earlier, Bengal scored 311 in their first innings.
At stumps on Day 3, Bengal were cruising at 141 for no loss, with a handy second-innings lead of 160 runs.
