MoS V. Muraleedharan to visit Sudan, South Sudan

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan will go on a five-day official visit to the Republic of the Sudan and Republic of South Sudan from October 18-22, in a visit that is expected to give a new momentum to India’s relations with the two African countries.
Muraleedharan will pay an official visit to the Republic of the Sudan, in northeast Africa, on October 18-19 and to the Republic of South Sudan, a landlocked country in east central Africa, on October 20–22, 2021. This will be his first visit to both the countries, an official statement said.
During his visit to Sudan, MoS will hold talks with Foreign Minister Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi and other dignitaries on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest. He will call on the President of the Sovereign Council of Sudan First Lt. General Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Al Burhan and Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok. He will also interact with the Indian community in Sudan during the visit.
