Modi visits Adampur airbase; issues fresh warning to Pakistan

Adampur, May 13 (UNI) Apparently seeking to debunk Pakistan’s claim about destroying Adampur airbase, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday visited this crucial military establishment and again warned Pakistan against any future misadventure, including a terrorist attack.

"India’s stance against terrorism is now firmly defined and any terror attack will be met with a strong and decisive response," he said as he interacted with the officers and jawans and hailed valour.

Reiterating his “three point template” in his last night address to the nation, the Prime Minister said, “First if there is a terror attack on India, we will respond in our own way, on our own condition and at our own time, second, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail and third we will not see government that patronises terrorists and the masters of terror as separate entities”.

“India's Laxman Rekha against terrorism is now crystal clear. If there is any terror attack, India will give a solid reply”.

He said that this was visible during the surgical strike, air strike and now “Operation Sindoor is India's new normal”.

He further added that the “world is also moving ahead by understanding this new form of India and this new system”.

Praising the armed forces, Modi said, “Every moment of Operation Sindoor bears testimony to the strength of the Indian soldiers. The coordination of our forces was really great, whether it was Army, Navy or the Air Force”.

Hailing the IAF for the precision attack on terror hubs, PM Modi said, “Our Air Force, in just 20-25 mins targeted the terrorist hubs so deep in Pakistan and hitting the pin pointed targets can only be done by a professional force equipped with modern technology”.

“Your speed and precision were of such a level that the enemy was left speechless. He only knew when he had to run. Our aim was to hit the terror headquarters inside Pakistan, to kill the terrorists but I can only imagine the conspiracy that Pakistan could have hatched by involving its passenger planes. I am proud that you very carefully performed this amazing feat without causing any damage to the civilian aircraft and also giving a strong response to it,” Modi said.

The PM said that after Pakistan pleaded, India only halted its military action and warned that “if Pakistan again shows terrorist activity or military threat, we will give a befitting reply”.

“We will give these answers in our own way, on our own terms and conditions, and the confidence hidden behind this decision is your strength, courage, bravery and alertness,” he added.
