Modi's 12-year rule marked by publicity, not performance: Peddapalli MP Vamsi Krishna

Hyderabad, June 11 (UNI) Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna on Thursday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the BJP-led government's 12 years in office, alleging that the period was characterised more by marketing and publicity than by tangible results on the ground.
In a statement, Vamsi Krishna said the Central Government had failed to fulfil several key promises made to the people. He pointed out that the pledge made in 2014 to create two crore jobs annually remains unfulfilled, resulting in growing unemployment among the youth.
The MP also accused the government of failing to double farmers' incomes, stating that farmers continue to face distress due to inadequate remunerative prices and rising debt burdens. He further questioned the Centre over its promise to bring back black money stashed abroad and deposit Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's bank account.
