MMMSS now under Right to Services Act

Chandigarh, July 23 (UNI) The Haryana government has brought the Mukhya Mantri Matritav Sahayta Scheme (MMMSS), implemented by the Department of Women and Child Development, under the ambit of the Right to Services Act, 2014.
A 45-day time limit has been set for the disbursement of benefits under the scheme.
An order to this effect has been issued by Chief Secretary, TVSN Prasad. Under the Mukhya Mantri Matritav Sahayta Scheme, the District Program Officer has been designated as the designated officer, while the Programme Officer (Nutrition)/Deputy Director has been designated as the First Grievance Redressal Officer and the Joint Director/Additional Director as the Second Grievance Redressal Officer.
