MLC Satyajeet Tambe raises concern in Council over delayed trauma care centre at Wavi

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) MLC Satyajeet Tambe today drew the attention of the Maharashtra Legislative Council to the long-pending issue of the trauma care centre at Wavi, which, despite receiving approval on February 27, 2024, has yet to see any progress on the ground.
Tambe expressed deep concern over the delay, stating that accident victims in the region are suffering due to the non-operational facility.
Highlighting the gravity of the issue, Tambe said that though the sanction for the trauma centre brought hope to residents of the surrounding areas, the lack of actual work on site has led to significant hardships. Many accident victims are unable to receive timely medical care, resulting in serious complications—and in some unfortunate cases, even loss of life.
