Mizoram submits ambitious projects at NECTAR meeting

Aizawl, Sep 18 (UNI) Mizoram’s Chief Secretary Dr Renu Sharma showcased the state’s technological ambitions at the 12th Governing Council meeting of the North Eastern Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR), held in New Delhi today.
Accompanied by Er H Lalsawmliana, Chief Scientific Officer of the Directorate of Science & Technology, Dr Sharma presented proposals aimed at harnessing cutting-edge technologies for the state's development.
Dr. Sharma submitted two Detailed Project Proposals (DPRs) from Mizoram—one for mass production of commercially significant plants through tissue culture techniques and the other for establishing Mizoram’s first naturopathy centre integrated with the Indian Traditional Health System.
