Mizoram Sports Minister honours ISL and Super Cup stars from his constituency

Aizawl, May 15 (UNI) Mizoram Sports & Youth Services Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar today felicitated two footballers from his Aizawl West-II constituency—Lalengmawia Ralte (Apuia) and Ayush Dev Chhetri—for their recent achievements in Indian football’s top competitions.
At a brief ceremony held in his MINECO office chamber, Hmar honoured Apuia of Vaivakawn, who won the 2024–25 Indian Super League (ISL) title with Mohun Bagan SG, and Ayush Chhetri of Dinthar, a 2025 Super Cup winner with FC Goa.
“Today, our footballers deserve celebration not just for excelling at club level, but also for earning their place in the Indian national team. While many footballers rise through elite academies, these two have charted their path from Mizoram. They show others can do the same,” Hmar said.
