Mizoram Heath Care covers 11.55 lakh beneficiaries; Govt reviews finances, service delivery

Aizawl, Feb 16 (UNI) The Mizoram Universal Health Care Scheme (MUHCS) has enrolled more than 2.88 lakh families, covering nearly 11.55 lakh beneficiaries across the state, including general households, pensioners, government employees and those under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), a high-level review meeting was informed on Monday.
The Governing Body of MUHCS convened at the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall here under the chairmanship of Lalduhoma to evaluate the scheme’s performance and outline priorities for the coming financial year.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister commended State Health Minister Lalrinpuii and officials of MUHCS for their sustained efforts in implementing the programme.
