Mizoram Governor meets school education officials to discuss key initiatives

Aizawl, Aug 14 (UNI) Mizoram Governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh held an important meeting with senior officials from the state school education department today to discuss the implementation of central government education schemes, the current state of education in the state, and strategies
to improve educational outcomes.
The discussion, which took place at Raj Bhavan in Aizawl, was led by School Education Department Secretary David Lalthantluanga.

Mizoram nears completion of electoral roll digitisation, leads SIR progress nationwide

Aizawl, Jun 18 (UNI) Mizoram has moved closer to completing the third phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with the state achieving 95.53 per cent digitisation of enumeration forms, emerging as the leading performer among the 16 states and three union Territories where the exercise is currently underway.

NSF, CNTC oppose Yoga Day observance in Nagaland schools on June 21

Dimapur, June 18 (UNI) The Naga Students Federation (NSF) and the Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) on Thursday opposed observance of International Yoga Day in schools across Nagaland on June 21, which falls on Sunday.
In a statement, the NSF voiced its strong opposition to the circular issued by the directorate of school education department, directing educational institutions across the state to observe the

Odisha forms probe panel over errors in school textbooks
