Missing Mandar woman returns safely from Chennai after intervention by Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey

Ranchi, Jan 18 (UNI) Saraswati Lakra, a mentally unwell woman from Sargaon village in Mandar block of Ranchi district, who had been missing since January 13, has returned home safely from Chennai following timely intervention by Jharkhand Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey.
According to official information, Saraswati Lakra had gone missing from her village, prompting her husband Krishna Oraon to lodge a written complaint at Mandar police station on January 16. During the course of her movement, she reportedly reached Mumbai and later travelled to Chennai. After reaching Chennai, she managed to contact her family over a mobile phone.
Upon receiving information about the case, Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey immediately took steps to ensure Saraswati’s safe return. She coordinated with the State Migrant Control Room of the Labour Department and directly contacted officials of the Chennai Police. With joint efforts by the Labour Department team and Chennai Police, Saraswati was traced near Chennai Central Railway Station based on her mobile location.
