Missing man found murdered under mysterious circumstances in Pratapgarh

Pratapgarh, Nov 7 (UNI) A young man was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Friday in a paddy field in Fatehpur village under the Fatanpur police station area of Pratapgarh district.
The deceased has been identified as Shubham Gautam (28), son of Manoj Gautam, a resident of Narayanpur Kala village, Fatanpur police station, Pratapgarh. Police suspect that the youth was murdered and his body dumped in the field.
According to family members, Shubham had left home on Thursday evening to attend an invitation but never returned. His family searched for him throughout the night, but his mobile phone was found switched off or missing. Finally, his body was recovered in a paddy field on Friday morning. The victim had injury marks pointing that he was murdered by someone.
