Miss World pageant estimated to cost Rs 54 crore : Telangana Minister

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (UNI) Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Thursday said the 72nd Miss World 2025 pageant to be held in Telangana, including Hyderabad, from May 7 to 31, is estimated to cost Rs 54 crore.
Addresing the pre-event press conference held at Begumpet Tourism Plaza here, he said the Telangana government will contribute Rs. 27 crore and the remaining funds will be raised through sponsors.
He expressed pride in hosting the prestigious Miss World 2025 pageant, calling it a golden opportunity to showcase Telangana's rich culture, traditions, and heritage on a global platform.
