Miss World 2025 contestants explore Kakatiya heritage in Warangal

Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) As part of their cultural immersion in India, Miss World 2025 contestants from 22 American countries embarked on a heritage tour across historic sites in Telangana, showcasing the region’s rich traditions and architectural marvels.
The delegation visited iconic locations, including the Thousand Pillar Temple, Warangal Fort, Ramappa Temple, and Ramappa Lake on Wednesday. Dressed in traditional Telugu sarees and tilaks, the contestants actively participated in local customs and rituals, reflecting a deep respect for Telangana’s heritage.
At Ramappa Temple, located in Mulugu district, the contestants received a grand welcome from District Collector T S Diwakara, SP Shabarisha, and tourism officials, accompanied by vibrant Koya tribal horn dances, Gussadi, and Oggu Dolu performances.
