Miraculous rescue of two buried under avalanche in Lahaul-Spiti

Lahaul-Spiti (Himachal Pradesh), Mar 18 (UNI) Two villagers were miraculously rescued alive after being buried under an avalanche in Mud village, Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
The event unfolded as locals ventured to a water source to collect water, a task made urgent by the region’s ongoing water crisis caused by heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures.
The villagers had placed four water tanks near the source, but these were buried under a glacier.
