Ministers and CM to offer silk clothes to temples during Bonalu festival in twin cities

Hyderabad, June 24 (UNI) In celebration of the Bonalu Festival 2025, a key cultural and religious event in Telangana, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and several ministers will present traditional silk clothes to prominent temples across Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
The offerings, a customary gesture of reverence and devotion during Bonalu, will take place from June 26 to July 24.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will offer silk clothes at the historic Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on July 13. Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka is scheduled to present offerings at Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple in Lal Darwaja, Hyderabad, on July 20.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy will visit Sri Mahankali Sahitya Mahakaleshwar Swamy Temple in Nacharam, Uppal, while Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha will offer silk clothes at Sri Darbar Maisamma Temple in Caravan, both on July 20.
Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy will visit Sri Bhagyalakshmi Temple at Charminar, and Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu will offer at Sri Akkanna Madanna Temple in Hari Bowli.
Other ministers scheduled for offerings on July 20 include Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy at Sri Kattamaisamma Temple in Chilakalguda, Tummala Nageswara Rao at Sri Nallapochamma Temple in Sabzi Mandi, Seethakka at Qila Maisamma Temple in NTR Nagar (SR Nagar), Jupally Krishna Rao at Sri Mahankali Temple in Meeralamandi, and Gaddam Vivek Venkat Swamy at Sri Muthyalamma Temple in Bela.
Minister Vakiti Srihari will visit Sri Mahankali Temple at Goulipura (Sri Bharatmata Kota Maisamma Temple), while Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar is scheduled to present offerings at Sri Jagadamba Temple in Sultan Shahi on July 20.
On July 1, Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponnam Prabhakar will offer silk clothes at Sri Yellamma Pochamma Devasthanam in Balkampet. The duo, along with Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, will also visit Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Temple at Golconda Kota during the festivities.
Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Chairman of the Legislative Council, will present offerings at Sri Mahankali Temple in Uppuguda. Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav will visit Sri Bangaru Maisamma Temple in Bhoiguda, GHMC Mayor Gadwala Vijaya Lakshmi will offer at the Bangaru Maisamma Temple in Hari Bowli, and Banda Prakash, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, will visit Sri Mahankali Temple in Amberpet. Deputy Speaker Jatoth Ramachandra Nayak will make offerings at Sri Darbar Maisamma Temple in Aliabad, an official statement said on Tuesday.
