Minister Pralhad Joshi highlights India's significant contributions to field of traditional medicine

Gadag / Pune, June 7 (UNI) union Minister Pralhad Joshi highlighted the rich heritage of Indian knowledge systems and said that India has made significant contributions to the field of traditional medicine.
Speaking after inaugurating the BVG Wellness Centre – Cancer Treatment Centre at Swayam Sanjeevini Ashram in Vasan village of Nargund Taluk of Gadag district, he emphasized that traditional medicine holds immense historical importance and stated that Ayurveda not only treats diseases but also guides people toward a long and healthy life by maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual balance.
Joshi added that Ayurveda, which has been passed down through generations, has gained importance in recent years due to its vast repository of herbal medicines and holistic healing practices.
