Minimum temperatures likely to dip 2–3 deg cel below normal in parts of Telangana: Met

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Minimum temperatures are likely to remain 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal at isolated places across Telangana during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In its daily weather report issued here, the Met office said dry weather is expected to prevail in the state over the next seven days.
Cold wave conditions were reported at isolated pockets in Adilabad district during the past 24 hours.

Kozhikode, Jan 14 (UNI) Ahead of the ‘ Kumbh Mela’ festival in Kerala’s Malappuram, on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river, the Thirunavaya village officer has issued a stop memo for the construction works on the Bharathapuzha river.
The village officer’s stop memo has triggered a controversy ahead of the proposed ‘Kumbh Mela’ on the banks of the Bharathapuzha, to be started next week.
Despite the stop memo, the organisers asserted that the event will go ahead as scheduled.
