Miller blitz powers DC to record chase at Dharamsala

Dharamsala, May 11 (UNI) David Miller delivered a breathtaking counterattack under pressure as Delhi Capitals pulled off the highest successful chase at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, defeating Punjab Kings by three wickets in a dramatic Indian Premier League encounter here today.
In a contest filled with momentum swings, Delhi Capitals somehow chased down 211 with an over to spare despite losing four wickets early in the innings. The victory kept their campaign alive while Punjab Kings slumped to a fourth consecutive defeat.
Chasing a daunting target, Delhi suffered a shaky start as KL Rahul, Abishek Porel and Sahil Parakh all fell inside the powerplay. Tristan Stubbs did not last long either, and at that stage Punjab Kings appeared firmly in control of the contest.

Mexico City, June 18 (UNI) Harry Kane scored twice as England opened with a victory, while the Democratic Republic of the Congo earned a historic first World Cup point on Wednesday.
At Dallas Stadium, Kane scored twice in the first half as England overcame a spirited display from Croatia to secure a 4-2 win.
The Bayern Munich striker converted from the penalty spot before Martin Baturina equalized in the 36th minute.
Kane then headed in from Declan Rice's corner, but Croatia again drew level through Petar Musa's clinical finish on the stroke of halftime.

Minakshi Hooda storms into World Boxing Cup quarter-finals

Guiyang, June 18 (UNI) India’s Minakshi Hooda advanced to the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Cup 2026 here in the People's Republic of China on Thursday.
Competing in the women's 51kg boxing category, Minakshi registered a 5-0 victory over Poland's Natalia Kuczewska in her round of 16 bout.
Minakshi, who is the reigning world champion and No. 1 ranked boxer in the 48kg division, has moved up to the 51kg weight class - an Olympic category - this season.
