Milk producers take out morcha at 'Gokul' office over issue of debenture cut

Kolhapur, Oct 16 (UNI) Milk institutions and milk producer farmers today took out a huge morcha to protest against curtailment of debenture from milk institutions alongwith their cows and buffalos at Kolhapur District Milk Producers Cooperative Sangh, renamed as 'Gokul Dudh', in the city.
Milk institutions and milk producer farmers from the district took out a huge morcha led by 'Gokul' director Shaumika Mahadik, to the main office of 'Gokul', with their domestic animals.
They shouted slogans against the reduction of debenture amount from the milk bill of milk institutions and milk producer farmers and demanded that the reduced amount be returned immediately to farmers and milk institutions.
