Mercury rises again in HP; Experts caution against early dormancy break

Shimla, Feb 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh is witnessing another spell of pleasant weather as daytime temperatures continue to remain markedly above normal across most parts of the state.
The Meteorological Centre, Shimla, reported dry weather during the past 24 hours, with no rainfall or snowfall recorded anywhere.
There was no large change in minimum temperatures, though night readings at several stations were normal to above normal by two to five degrees.

Hardoi, March 11 (UNI) The anti-corruption organization team of the CBI has arrested Suresh Chaudhary, former district president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Hardoi, for allegedly accepting Rs 45,000 as bribe from a woman in exchange for helping her secure a bank loan, officials said today. According to the complainant, Seema Devi, a resident of Achhramau village in the Baghauli police station area, had applied for a Rs 5 lakh loan under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Employment Scheme at the Bank of Baroda.
