Meltwater expands Hyderabad AI Hub; tripling team size

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI) Meltwater, the global leader in media, social, and consumer intelligence, on Thursday announced the expansion of its Hyderabad AI Hub into a new 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Hi-Tech City- less than a year after establishing its first AI center in the city.
The expanded facility currently houses a 60-member R&D team focused on developing next-generation AI capabilities, with plans to scale to 150 engineers by the end of 2026. The company has strategically recruited top engineering talent from premier Indian institutions including IIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani Hyderabad, and IIIT Hyderabad, and will extend university outreach to IISc Bangalore and IIIT Bangalore through campus recruitment drives.
The Hyderabad center has rapidly evolved into a critical piece of Meltwater's global R&D team, driving breakthrough AI capabilities across the company's product suite.
Among the key innovations developed by the India team is MIRA (Meltwater's AI Teammate) which is an intelligent AI assistant that combines agentic and generative AI to deliver instant insights through a conversational interface, streamlining complex workflows such as brand monitoring, competitive intelligence, and news briefings.
The team has also built advanced multilingual NER models, natural language processing systems that analyze content across 200 languages, alongside fully automated Brand Performance Reports that transform raw data into actionable intelligence, providing greater value, insight and productivity for customers using the Meltwater suite of solutions.

Govt extends CGSMFI-2 0, enhances loan limit for large NBFC-MFIs
