Mehbooba fears for Kashmir if docs found involved in Delhi blast after probe

Srinagar, Nov 12 (UNI) Former chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti today expressed concern over reports suggesting that some doctors from the Valley have been named in connection with the recent Delhi blast case, saying that if the allegations are proven true, it would be a “moment of worry” for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media, Mehbooba said the Delhi blast, in which several people lost their lives, was heart-wrenching, and the possibility of educated professionals being linked to such an act was deeply disturbing.
“It was a very sad incident, and what is even more painful is that some of our doctors from Kashmir are being named. These are among the most intelligent and educated people of our society — the architects of the nation,” she said.
