Meghalaya Govt aims to make Shillong the football capital of India: CM Sangma

Shillong, July 9 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that his government’s vision is to ensure that Shillong becomes the next “football capital of India”, a football powerhouse in the country.

Speaking at the unveiling of the three magnificent domestic football tournaments- the Durand Cup, the Shimla Trophy and the President’s Cup here today, Sangma said that his government has supported sports activities in the state.
