Media workshop ‘Vartalap’ highlights nutrition awareness, media integrity in digital age

Lucknow, Oct 13 (UNI) The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Lucknow, today hosted a media workshop titled ‘Vartalap’ at Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, focusing on two key themes: Strengthening public awareness about government nutrition initiatives and tackling the rising menace of fake news and misinformation in journalism.
The chief guest, Pratibha Shukla, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, underscored the government’s commitment to improving nutrition among women and children under the ongoing Poshan Maah (Nutrition Month) campaign.
“Our collective aim is to nurture a generation that is healthy, strong, and grounded in values,” she said, aligning with the initiative’s theme, “Paushtik Bachche, Swasth Samaj” (Nourished Children, Healthy Society).
