Mayor Vijayalakshmi urges caution as heavy rains lash Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 18 (UNI) In response to heavy rains that began lashing several parts of Greater Hyderabad on Thursday evening, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi urged city residents to remain cautious and seek assistance from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) when needed.

Issuing a public advisory, the Mayor appealed to citizens to avoid venturing out unless absolutely necessary and to stay indoors for their safety. “People should step out only in case of emergencies,” she said, emphasising the need for vigilance during the ongoing monsoon spell.
