Mayawati praises UP govt for relocating senior care center project amid public outcry

Lucknow, Sep 11 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati has welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to not proceed with the construction of a Senior Care Center within the premises of the Gautam Buddha Park located in Kanshiram Nagar, Moradabad.
In a statement shared on social media platform X today, Mayawati emphasized the significance of the park, calling it not only a popular public space but also a spiritual and cultural site for followers of Buddhism, Dr BR Ambedkar, and BSP founder Kanshiram.
She described the park as a symbol of faith and inspiration, particularly for the Bahujan community.
