Mayawati flags rising national crises, calls for true implementation of Ambedkar’s constitutional vision

Lucknow, Dec 7 (UNI) Expressing deep concern over the country’s current situation, BSP chief Mayawati on Thursday highlighted issues such as growing poverty, unemployment, the chaos in airline operations, severe air pollution in Delhi, and the declining value of the rupee.
She said these escalating problems have left the entire nation so worried and stressed that meaningful solutions can only be found by implementing Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s humanitarian and welfare-oriented Constitution in the right spirit.
In a statement on X on Sunday, Mayawati urged governments to abandon a purely commercial approach and instead formulate policies, laws, and programmes with honesty, transparency, and genuine public interest. Only such an approach, she said, can ensure relief from prevailing challenges and promote national welfare.
