Maxime Vachier–Lagrave clinches Tata Steel Chess India Rapid title

Kolkata, Sep 7 (UNI) Maxime Vachier–Lagrave of France maintaining his dominance clinched the Rapid title of Tata Steel Chess India 2023 on his maiden visit to India on Thursday.
The Frenchman finished with seven points. He was followed by Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan with 5.5 points. Three GMs - R Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Gujrathi and Alexander Grischuk - were tied in the third position with five points.
