Massive arrangements in place for swearing-in: Over one lakh people expected in Kerala capital

Thiruvananthapuram, May 18 (UNI) The Kerala capital is gearing up for one of the largest political gatherings in recent years as elaborate arrangements have been completed for the swearing-in ceremony of the new UDF government led by Chief Minister-designate V. D. Satheesan at the Central Stadium on Monday morning.
Intelligence agencies have reportedly estimated that more than one lakh people may arrive in Thiruvananthapuram to witness the ceremony, prompting authorities to enforce extensive security and traffic regulations across the city from 7 am onwards.
Nearly 4,500 police personnel have been deployed for crowd management and security duties.
