Marking new milestone in suburban rail travel, SRly launches first AC EMU train services

Chennai, Apr 19 (UNI) Southern Railway on Saturday launched the first Air-Conditioned EMU
(AC EMU) services marking a new milestone in Chennai suburban rail travel.
The services were without much fanfare and only senior Southern Railway officials were present.

Kerala allocates Rs 7 crore for Nitya Chaitanya Yati Memorial

Pathanamthitta, Nov 9 (UNI) The Kerala government has granted administrative approval of Rs 7 crore for the establishment of the Guru Nitya Chaitanya Yati Memorial and International Study Centre in the Konni Assembly constituency.
The project, presented at the Nava Kerala Sadas and promoted by the Tourism Department, aims to create a dedicated space for researchers and visitors to explore the life and teachings of Nitya Chaitanya Yati.
