Marandi accuses Jharkhand CM of "sacrificing officials to save himself" amid liquor scam row

Ranchi, Dec 10 (UNI) Jharkhand BJP president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has renewed his attack on the state government over the alleged liquor scam, accusing Chief Minister Hemant Soren of trying to shield himself by shifting blame onto officials.
Marandi questioned how JSBCL (Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited) awarded liquor supply work to a company without any agreement, allegedly in violation of established rules and procedures. He demanded that the government must clarify "on whose instructions" such a decision was taken.
In a post shared on his social media account, Marandi wrote that the Chief Minister is "once again planning to save himself by sacrificing a government official," adding that the rising number of alleged scams under the current regime will soon outnumber the officials available to blame.
