Many leaders from Sharad Pawar's NCP and 'Prahar' join BJP in Latur

Mumbai, July 11 ( UNI) In a major political development in Latur district, several prominent leaders from the Sharad Pawar-led NCP faction and the 'Prahar' organization, including former President of Chakur Nagar Panchayat Kapil Makne, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here today.
The induction ceremony was held at the BJP state headquarters today, where Maharashtra BJP President Ravindra Chavan welcomed the new entrants into the party.
Among the key figures who joined the BJP were Kapil Makne (former municipal head and Prahar leader) and Nilkanth Mirkale, Chairman of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) and a leader from the Sharad Pawar faction.
