Manu, Esha headline India’s 30-member shooting squad for Asian Games

New Delhi, June 11 (UNI) Double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker was among the headline names as the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) today announced a 30-member shooting contingent for the 20th Asian Games, to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.
The shooting events will be conducted from September 17 to October 3 at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Range, with India fielding an equal number of men and women shooters in a squad carefully assembled to maximise medal prospects across disciplines.
To ensure participation across all available events, the selection committee identified a select group of shooters capable of competing in multiple disciplines. As a result, Manu, Esha Singh, Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil and Vidarsa K Vinod have been named as double starters.
