Manipur Police recovers arms and ammunition

Imphal, Feb 9 (UNI) Manipur Police nabbed eight suspected militants and recovered arms and ammunition including eight arms that were looted from an outpost on Saturday night.
Police said around 30 armed miscreants equipped with sophisticated weapons, breached a police outpost at Kakmayai under Thoubal District and overpowered the police personnel deployed at the post.
The armed miscreants then looted nine arms. However, the security personnel fought and could detain one of the miscreants namely Ningthem who was later identified as a member of KCP.
