Manipur police condemns assault of police personnel

Imphal, Feb 29 (UNI) Manipur Police has condemned the abduction and assault of Police personnel on February 27 night.
Imphal West Additional SP M Amit and another policeman were abducted and assaulted by around 200 gunmen on February 27 night.
Three IGPs of Manipur Police, IK Muivah, K Jayenta, and K Kabib addressing the media here on Thursday said the police officer on getting information about stealing vehicles had apprehended a person who was allegedly involved in the incident.
