Manipur: Police & Assam Rifles seize narcotics worth Rs 15 crore

Imphal, Feb 24 (UNI) Assam Rifles personnel and Manipur Police have unearthed a godown used for stocking narcotics along with other incriminating items worth around Rs 15 crore at the border town of Moreh.
Assam Rifles official said a team cordoned off a suspected house, carried out a search operation on Friday, and seized the narcotics.
Police seized 29.799 KG of WIY tablets, 0.386 KG of Heroin powder, 5.266 KG of Caffeine, 2.471 KG of Crystal powder, 8.299 KG of Gold Dust, 7970 Alprazolam tablets, 10 different types of Rubber Stamps, and other packing materials from the possession of the house owner. The total cost of seized items was around Rs 15 Crore in the international Market.
