Man shoots cousin brother dead, surrenders before police

Banda (UP), Apr 27 (UNI) A man shot his cousin brother dead when the latter came to resolve the family dispute and later surrendered before the police in the Baberu area of Banda district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Raju, his brothers Ramchandra alias Channi and Sanjay, all residents of Augasi Road Ayodhyapuri in Baberu town, were having a family dispute for a long. "On Sunday, his neighbour and cousin Rajjan Malik (56) reached to settle the family dispute," they said.
Police sources said that when Rajjan talked about reconciliation, Raju got agitated and started arguing with him. "During the argument Raju shot Rajjan dead, threw the pistol in the drain and surrendered at the police station," they said.
