Mumbai, Feb 8 (UNI) In a heartbreaking incident, a 36-year-old man returning from a relative’s funeral was killed and his nephew was injured in a hit-and-run accident in the Goregaon area of Mumbai, suburb official said on Saturday.
According to details available, Ramesh Jhore and his nephew Naresh, 18, were returning home on Jhore’s scooter from Kandivali. When they reached the Dindoshi flyover on the Western Express Highway, a speeding four-wheeler rammed into their vehicle from behind. As they fell off the scooter, the speeding vehicle fled the scene.
With the help of the locals, immediately they were taken to the hospital, where Ramesh Jhore was declared dead before admission.
