Man dies in group clash in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur (UP), May 19 (UNI) A 65-year-old man died after sustaining injuries during a scuffle between two parties in Kundanganj area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Monday.
Circle Officer (CO) Tilhar Jyoti Yadav said that in Rampur Navadiya village under Khudaganj police station, there was a dispute with Mahesh and Kishanlal on Sunday night over picking up logs of wood lying outside the house. "During the scuffle Om Prakash Maurya was seriously injured," she said.
She said that the police reached the spot on information and admitted the injured to the community health centre where he died during treatment. "On the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case of murder against five people and a team has been formed to search for the accused," she said.
