Man arrested on charges of possessing an intoxicant substance fled from police custody

Hoshiarpur (Punjab), Aug 8 (UNI) A man arrested on charges of possessing an intoxicant substance by the Hariana police fled from police custody on Thursday, according to police sources.
The Hariana police had intercepted Sunny, a resident of Mohalla Partap Nagar, while he was riding a motorbike near a school on the Hoshiarpur-Dasuya road on Wednesday. Police allegedly seized 65 grams of an intoxicant substance from him.
An FIR was registered against him at Hariana police station.
