Mamata alleges PM Modi’s jhal muri stop is ‘staged drama’

Birbhum, Apr 20 (UNI) A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen eating 'jhal muri' at a roadside stall in Jhargram, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday alleged that the episode was “staged” as part of poll-time theatrics.
Speaking at an election rally in Murarai in Birbhum district, Banerjee accused the Prime Minister of resorting to “drama” during elections, claiming that such acts—ranging from temple visits to public gestures—are aimed at influencing voters.
