Major permanent works underway for Sammakka–Saralamma jatara, says Minister Ponguleti

Hyderabad/Medaram, Dec 12 (UNI) With the Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara set to commence in January, the Telangana government is undertaking extensive permanent infrastructure works to ensure smooth conduct of the major tribal festival that is expected to see one crore visitors, said Warangal District In-charge Minister and State Revenue, Housing and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
On Friday, Ponguleti, along with Tribal Welfare Minister Dhanasari Anasuya (Seethakka) and Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary K S Srinivasa Raju, inspected ongoing development works at the Sammakka–Saralamma temple in S.S. Tadvai mandal. The team reviewed renovation of the temple gaddelas, stone structures at Pagidda Raju and Govinda Raju gaddelas, flooring and stone pillar installations, and improvements at Jampanna Vagu.
The Minister instructed officials and contractors to maintain strict quality standards and expedite work to ensure timely completion before the Jatara. He emphasised that the structures must be built to last for the next hundred years, reflecting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision for the shrine’s development.
