Major fire at KV Complex in Kannur, 10 shops gutted

Kannur, Oct 9 (UNI) A massive fire that broke out at a four-storey commercial complex building 'KV Complex', near the Taliparamba Municipal bus stand here, fully gutted ten shops while many others were partially gutted in the fire this evening.
No casualty was reported. The District Fire officer confirmed that no one was trapped in the fire in any of the shops.
The fire was reported around 5:15pm and one dozen (12) fire tenders from Kannur and Kasaragod districts rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 8pm.
