Majithia condemns attack on Punjabi-Spanish couple in Dalhousie

Chandigarh, June 15 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia on Saturday condemned the beating of a Punjabi youth Kanwaljit Singh and his wife of Spanish origin by local people in Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh.
Majithia, in his post on "X" alleged that targeting Punjabi tourists was the result of the effect of the statement made by the film actress and MP Kangana Ranaut.
After visiting the couple in a hospital at Amritsar, he said that now this couple was appealing to Punjabis not to go to Himachal Pradesh as hatred towards Punjabis has spread in the minds of the people there.
