Maharashtra: Three-year-old child dies in wall collapse

Nashik, Feb 18 (UNI) In a tragic accident, a three-year-old child named Mohammad Khan was crushed to death by a collapsing wall in Nashik's Satpur Colony on Wednesday evening.
The incident caused a stir in the village. Residents of the Satpur area rushed to the scene.
After a great deal of effort, the child, who was buried under the debris, was brought out and taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Upon receiving information about the accident, local police arrived at the scene. They took the student's body into custody and sent it for a post-mortem examination.

Vanchit activists raise 'Modi hatao, Desh bachao' slogan at Kranti Chowk

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Mar 11 (UNI) Protesters planning to burn an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an agitation organised by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi against the Central government's policies, were foiled by police on Wednesday amidst chants of "Modi hatao, Desh bachao."
Police seized the effigy from protesters to prevent an escalation of the situation at Kranti Chowk in the town where the demonstration was held.
