Maharashtra leads in horticulture due to protected Irrigation says Dr. Kailas Mote

Pune, Oct 11 (UNI) Maharashtra holds a leading position in horticulture and agricultural exports across the country. Maintaining year-round orchards in adverse conditions is a major challenge.

“The future of this sector is bright, and because farmers are responding positively to both community and individual farm pond schemes, Maharashtra stands out at the national level,” Dr. Mote added.
