Maharashtra Govt exploiting Gadchiroli tribals in name of development: Danve

Gadchiroli, July 16 (UNI): Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council Ambadas Danve on Thursday alleged that the Mahayuti government was exploiting the tribal population of Gadchiroli in the name of industrial development while favouring corporate interests.
Talking to reporters here, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader claimed that the government was facilitating large-scale industrial projects in the district without adequately protecting the rights, land and livelihood of the local tribal communities.
Danve alleged that despite tall promises of employment and rehabilitation, tribals continued to remain neglected and deprived of the benefits of development.
